Kupu o te Rā in Slack and Teams

Slack and Microsoft Teams can post each day’s kupu in a channel. Both read the Kupu o te Rā news feed:

Slack

1. Check that your workspace has Slack’s RSS app. If it doesn’t, Slack explains how to add it in Add RSS feeds to Slack.
2. Go to the channel where you want the kupu.
3. Send this message:
   /feed subscribe https://kupu.maori.nz/feed.xml

Microsoft Teams

1. In Teams, open Apps, find Workflows and add it.
2. In Workflows, search the templates for “RSS” and choose Post a channel message when a new RSS feed is published.
3. Give it the feed address, https://kupu.maori.nz/feed.xml, and choose the team and channel.
4. Save the workflow.

Your organisation may need to allow the Workflows app first.

From the next day, each new kupu appears in the channel.
