1. He kōrero tāpiri
Ko te tikanga o te kōrero tāpiri, kua tapiritia tētahi kōrero ki tētahi rerenga kōrero, hei tauira:
I haere ngā tamariki ki te moana kauhoe ai.
The children went to the ocean and swam.

A similar formulation is E … ai + subject + me + verb, for example:
